but cant retire - again pv narasimh rao syndrome..

badly no cure - as far as BCCI (Brainless Cricket cheaters bored) sitting in chair

My Question.....if INDIA ONLY WON UNDER GANGULY BECAUSE OF DRAVID'S CONTRIBUTION...THEN I SUPPOSE NOONE IS STOPPING DRAVID TO PERFORM WHEN HE IS CAPTAIN AND WIN MATCHES FOIR INDIA LIKE HE DID WHEN GANGULY WAS CAPTAIN.....

IT WAS NOT DRAVID...IT WAS A FIGHTING UNIT UNDER GANGULY....

RESULTS SPEAK FOR ITSELF.

WORLD CUP FINALISTS....UNDER GANGULY
WORLD CUP DISASTER .....UNDER DRAVID

CHAMPIONSTROPHY WINNER, FINALIST & SEMI FINALIST UNDER GANGULY

CHAMPIONSTROPHY DISASTER AT HOME....IS ASHAME..UNDER DRAVID...

EXAMPLE OF POOR CAPTAINCY....
DRAVID SHIFTED TENDULKAR TO MIDDLE ORDER...BUT HE WANTED TO OPEN....

GANGULY ALLOWED TENDULKAR TO OPEN IN WORLD CUP..IT PAID OFF.....GREAT CAPTAINCY

Dravid never played negative game, when Ganguly was playing 2003 WC or Champions trophy. But Ganguly and Tendulkar played negative game and politics to get Rahul Dravid down, so that they can clinch Captancy. This is pathetic cheap politics of Ganguly and Tendulkar.

THATS A MAN MANAGEMENT PROBLEM.....
IN OTHER WORDS YOU ARE TRYING TO SAY ...SACHIN AND DRAVID SUPPORTED GANGULY.
BUT GANGULY AND SACHIN DID NOT SUPPORT DRAVID.

BUT WHY IS THAT?
ITS NOT ONLY DRAVID AND SACHIN WHO PLAYED WELL UNDER GANGULY....BUT THERE ARE OTHERS WHO PERFORMED WELL.SO IN SIMPLE WORDS EVERYONE SUPPORTED GANGULY AS A LEADER.

NOW ITS NOT ONLY SACHIN AND GANGULY....THERE ARE OTHERS WHO DID NOT PERFORM....SO Y BLAME SACHIN AND GANGULY......

DRAVID WANTED TENDULKAR TO BAT IN THE MIDDLE ORDER.TENDULKAR WANTS TO OPEN.

2 GUYS DONT MAKE A DIFFERENCE.

Ganguly was not even there in the Championstrophy...so how do u justify that disaster at home??

Dravid is a meek and timid person. He is a very jealous and ambitious guy.
He used to flatter Ganguly for securing his place in the team in spite of his very slow and powerless cricket.
He hardly raised his bat or hit a ball for the fear of getting out.
He was there in the team due to strong South plus Mumbai lobby support and patronage of Ganguly.
Ganguly even kept him in the team as wicket keeper batsman and saved the career of Dravid.
Dravid once said that on the off side play Ganguly is only second to God.
Ganguly never never said anything or did anything against Dravid or Tendulkar or any player of the team.
But when Ganguly was dropped none of the senior players stood beside him.
Remember how Dravid reacted when anybody in thge media asked for inclusion of Ganguly in the team.
His jaws stiffened and his mouth became dry.
He said that it was upto the Selection Committee to select players and then vehemently opposed selection of Ganuly in the selection committee meeting along with his godfather Chappel.
This shameless spineless apology of a human being however threw all his weight behind Sehwag in spite of his repeated failures.
This is called double standard or dwicharita.
He can never be a successful captain.
Not a single player in the team would respect such a hyppocrite.
More and more humiliation is awaited for the Indian team as long as selectors keep Dravid as the captain.

Vijay, this is your fairy godmother, your only solution is:
take the liver of a toad, bind it tight about your throat, stand naked at full moon in a barrel of eels eyes, and POOF.. your wish will be granted. Also don't call me sir again or I'll turn you into a toad : )
Don't turn evil on me dude (Harry Potter overdose), i was only kidding, but I'm not so sure of Dhoni as captain.

In one of the WC matches which I saw Dravid puts Ganguly on slips and he swaps his place with Tendulkar. I dont understand Saurav''s attitude. The main reason for India''s debacle was attitude problem among the players...Harbhajan, Yuvraj, Sehwag, Ganguly all have attitude problems. They dont want to improve themselves and on top of it indulge in groupism. Now even Tendulkar has joined the same list. Very sad !
If anybody has the recording please watch it.Now tell me who should be sacked.

You cannot overlook this achievements and sack him from the team.He can be sacked from captaincy.I agree with you in that issue.

The performance depends on the batsman's batting position in the line up... I can surely say that this is not because the batsmen are going to a lean patch as every body says. Dravid's over experimentation in changing the batting order in every match (that time the coach and Dravid told every batsman should be able to bat at any position) paid the price...

Ya Ya yea, I agree, but once upon a time. He is no more wonderfull player in the world - currently.
Current wonderful payers were Ricky, Hayden, Kallis.
So now you can start telling stories to your kids - once upon a time, there was a prince named Sachin and he conqured the cricket fans with his batting skills and the crazy fans did poojas for him to prosper and there came a nightmare (BD & SL)which exposed him completely. He asked for help, but Chappel showed his cheppel and Dravid showed his back.
Sharad asked him to play a drama in the media to make people forget about the past and get into new knots (Sachin & Chappel).....and so on

Still Sachin is a good player. But, before itself, he has proved that he is not a good captain. Still, BCCI appointed him as the vice captain. What the hell, they are doing. Let him play freely at the opening slot, which is his favourite position.
If, they allow him to play so, no doubt, he will regain his rhythm..

Bangla - Measuring scale
by mohan on Apr 18, 2007 07:10 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Bangladesh could be used as scale to measure a teams performances in the WC.

Indian are measured much lesser and so as the SA and England.

Aus, NZ, SL were measured higher and thats the reason they were on top of the tables.

PAK had no chance to be measure - sad.

Suprisingly Ireland measured much higher than expected - so Indians must imagine when they were measured against Ireland and could expect humilation too.

ISN'T THIS MEASURING SCALE HAS LOGIC IN IT

There is no logic to justify SA is better than India according to your BANGLA SCALE bcoz both the teams have lost to Bangladesh

Find another scale to comparision among loosers from the same team

Ok sax,

Here is another scale for India & SA which is Lankan scale - India measured very much lesser in this scale and SA is measured marginally higher in the same scale (based on WC results)

So SA is defenitely better than India, currently all the test playing nations (expect Bangla & Ireland) were better than us.
