winner australia
by Hari Haran on Apr 21, 2007 09:34 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Why are the teams having copetition now in the cricket world cup?

I would advice australia to simply take the cup and not waste our time in watching the matches in hope that the aussieswill lose.

I think Indian team was right in going out of the world cup before the super8 because they knew aussies will win.

I am still hoping that some team other than Australia wins the WC (Sri Lanka or NZ). But looking at the Aussie performance so far, seems that they will wallop the cup this time too. SL or NZ at the best are still not good enough to beat Australia unless the Aussies have an off day in the finals!

Ganguly
by Bhavik Shankar on Apr 21, 2007 07:45 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Gangulys performance:
129-ball 66 against Bangladesh
114-ball 89 against Bermuda,
and 23-ball 7 against Sri Lanka

doesn't this show you people ganguly is a selfish player who has his own interests at heart than the indian teams?

He only wants to score runs for himself rather than at a quick rate which would benefit the team.

Team selection is like Manmohan Desai directed movie
by Sharad Saxena on Apr 21, 2007 03:37 AM  Permalink

Sachin and saurav dropped from one day team... good

Sehwag dropped from test squad..... wonderful

These steps can make FOOL to no of persons but actually it is a wise planning , everybody will agree with me that in Bangladeshi conditions Sachin , Saurav and sehwag will not face any problem to give SPLENDID PERFORMANCE and based on that

All 3 will be easily get a place in one days and test squad as usual in next series after Bangladesh tour

It is like Saleem Javed written , manmohan Desai directed movie where MISPLACED brothers meet in the climax with HAPPY ENDING.....

Why Sewag?

1) Ony Indian player to score a century in this world cup.

2) Only player who looked to score against SL.

3) Only indian player who scored more than 300 runs.

there are many reasons if you start loking for them. Open your eyes!

Down Down Dravid, Board
by Indra Sengupta on Apr 20, 2007 10:22 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Dravid is the greatest crook,

Inspite of best performance Ganguly

was kept out.

If Sehwag finds a place in the team

why Tendulkar was dropped.

This is absolute harakiri

committed by the board.

The team will fail miserably in the Bangla tour

and all subsequent matches.

Dravid will be termed as the greatest villain of Indian cricket in times to come.

ALL well wishers of Indian cricket voice their protest all over the nation.

Raise your cries against the meek mean and worthless captain and senseless board and stop watching cricket.

Blog from an india fan -WC 2003 finals ,wat a joke
by ashish on Apr 20, 2007 06:06 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Dear Mr.McGrath,

There is no doubt that your team had a better approach than that of the Indians, but your are missing one key point. You guys have perfected the art of BODYLINE techniques, which unfortunately (or fortunately in your case) India had not even considered. From now on, however, it is just a matter of time that the wounded Indian team will realize this and bounce back with all the flare it rightly deserves. And I wish you would still be playing some cricket by the time we meet in the next World Cup FINALS...
