You are great. You are the better selectir than Vengsarkar. If I were you I would have selected same order batting. Uthappa and Ganguli should open the innings.

it should be: 1.Ganguly 2.Uthappa 3.Sehwag /Pathan(depending on pitch and form) 4.Sachin 5.Dravid 6.Y.sing 7.Dhoni 8.H.Sing 9.Zaheer 10.A garkar 11.M.Patel

If that is the only reason we should have won the last last two world cups - seems not an enogh reason
Some of the grounds will be absolutely new, matches will be played for the first time in those venues.....moreover,In west Indies ,we will have pitches where 230-240 might be a match winning score,keeping that in mind experienced players like Sourav, Sachin, Rahul can play a very crucial role......Keeping in mind the recent performance, India shd qualify for the SF, other 3 teams being Australia,New Zealand & West Indies , Pakistan will be the underdogs while SA is a tiger on fast tracks...

kya baat hai mr. shaikh super allrounder "irfan" wait till tommorrow. it might be possible that he dont even go to w.i. (as per vengy!!!)
As I saw the performance of Indian team. I think India may go to Semi final along with other 03 possible team of my selection. they are Newzealand, Australia & South Africa

new zealand is there bcoz of their 3-0 triumph over aus at their home grounds. but will they beat teams like england,pakistan and srilanka???? i have doubts abt nz..
If Ganguly & uthappa will open in world cup then INDIA will get a fabulous start and having chance to stand big score which will help them to win the whole series & they will capture "THE WORLD CUP " repeating 1983
