India should bat first, whenever they win toss.. and try to make at least 300 ....automatically game would be our side.... In 2003, we did mistake in final...do not repeat pl...we won toss and gave bat first to australia.. Do not expect to chase run...

u r right rick, history says india is not a good chaser.couple of wickets brings entire team in great pressure.
we have the best mix of the talents in the team as seen in warm up matches. Now lot depends on Leadership and strategies.Dravid must prove that he is quick enough to make changes in the strategy while being in the field.
India is by far the best team in the warm up matches having won both the warm ups. We r only the 2nd team to do so after aus. so we stand a better chance against others.
too much hopes on sachin suceeding is not proper, cricket is a team game all players have to give their for india to suceed. umpteenth time it has been seen that sachin fails in crux matches, thus the the likes of dhoni, saurav, dravid&yuvraj should be ready to give their best in the coming second stage matches.similarly zaheer, patel, irfan, agarkar&harbhajan, will have to bowl out of their skins to upset australia/south africa, who appear to be the teams which can reach the finals. b.n.roy
Dravid is no ordinary Captain, you should give his thought and idea some importance, because Viru can prove as a granade with pin un plugged, it can blast any moment and would leave the opponent in astray. Viru is important, that true. And yes, when Captain is depending so much on him, then Viru will psychologically come up with a better result. Many would not agree but I feel, Viru will kill the opponents, in more strong words, he would massacre the opponents in this world cup
