Congratulations and thanks for this perfect timing work !!

Rediff has once again proved to be perfect timer. Hats off !!!

I would like to add one more equally romantic but under rated movie. it is " Socha Na Tha".
Casting: Lead role, Abhay Deol and Ayesha Takia.
Classic Act: A Rishida type of sweet n cute romantic story with many amazing light and funny moments. Quite beleivable story and performance.

Chameli Ki Shaadi
by arvind v on Feb 10, 2007 12:28 PM  Permalink

Chameli ki shaadi is a laughter riot. very very funny. anil and amrita singh are gr8, but it is the supporting cast that needs to be applauded the most (pankuj kapur, annu kapur, amjad khan).
i think it should be remade to give it credit it deserves

Excellent feature
by sridhar raghavan chari on Feb 10, 2007 11:59 AM  Permalink

My congratulations to the team that put together this feature. These are truly romantic films untainted by histrionics and loud numbers. they appeal both to the mind and heart. Looking forward to more such features!!

Most romantic scene
by anjum khan on Feb 10, 2007 09:06 AM  Permalink

My most romantic scene is from Dil Hai Ki Manta Nahin. In one scene when aamir's car gets broken down, he and puja danced together at the tunes of "hum hain raahee pyar ke, humse kucch na boliye", a famous song of kishore.

Nice collection...my take
by Abhishek Goswami on Feb 09, 2007 11:07 PM  Permalink

Yes Sukanya,
I agree with all your choices(though I haven't seen Yahudi but trust Dilip Kumar and your judgement to stand by it).I'd also like to add a few others:
1)Dil Diya Dard Liya
2)Bemisaal
3)Pushpak(for it's novel ending)
4)Baaton baaton mein

This movie showed the most important element of true love, the sacrifice that comes with loving and caring for someone. Ajay and Aishwarya were superb. Defintely a tear jerker. A dark love story and thats probably why no box office success.
