Romantic scene
by gurdeep singh on Feb 09, 2007 07:52 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

I think the most romantic moment is from Sholay when Mr.Bachhan was sitting on Buffalo having a stik in his hand & when he saw Mrs. Bachhan then he forget everything & keep on looking at her with kind of softness in his eyes & then he realises that he is showing that stik to her. I love that moment.
From Gurdeep.

Basanti and Gabbar
by on Feb 09, 2007 07:32 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

There is this untold chemistry going between Basanti and Gabbar in Sholey. The most romantic scene of the India Cinema is "Basanti.. in kutton ke saamane maat naachana". Still Basanti starts dancing not to save Dharam paji but just because Gabbar told her to do that.. what a love between Gabbar and Dhanno..

Ramkali Dakait ka badla
by Baba Kamdev on Feb 09, 2007 06:15 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

My favourite romantic scene is from the movie "ramkali dakait ka Badla"..where the female dacoit proposes to a drunkard at the village "sharbkhana" (bar)...he refuse on the gorund that he has to first buy 100 goats before thinking of marriage. Then the female dacoits slaps him for turning her proposal and says ,"main tujhe loot kar saarey gaon ki baraiya doongi...aur 150 murgey bhi"....the pain in the eyes of both thr protagoinst is the best moment in history of Indian Cinema.

Dekha Na Tune Mudke bhi peeche... Kuch Der to main ruka tha...
Jab Dil Ne Tujhko Rokna Chaha... Door Tu Jaa chukaa thaa

I still have to come across any scene that has such romantic intensity and pain. And only SRK and Kajol could carry off that scene...

Scene 2:- Tezaab - Anil goes to Kiran's den to rescue Madhuri. She was under the impression that Anil was no more. In that dark room without realising that Anil is there, she mouths dome dialogues and now Anil is in tears for misunderstanding. Some goons knock the door, Madhuri pushes Anil to escape, Anil goes few steps and comes back, gives Madhuri a tightest hug.... THis is the most romantic scene I had ever seen. I was moved so much that I vowed that I'll never see Tezaab again so that the impact will remain the same without diluting due to repeated viewing

Hi Nidhi
It's one of my favourite scenes but the most romantic as well as emotional scene as on date is from TITANIC when Leonardo struggles to save Kate Winslet and dies without knowing whether he's succeeded.

my fav's...
by bindesh pandey on Feb 09, 2007 04:23 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Some of my fav's are(though, not necessarily in that order) :

1. Fanaa (Kajol and Aamir in Auto-rickshaw... kajol sitting very close to aamir, with her head on his shoulders and the song "Lag ja gale ke fir ye hasi raat ho na ho....shayad fir is janam mein mulaqaat ho na ho". It really touches ur heart...awesome.)

2. Dil Chahta hai(There are two scenes frm this movie, which i find really beautiful. One is,pretty obviously, the scene when Aamir proposed Preity in front of 500 ppl...during the marraige ceremony... The way aamir recites that dialogue...simply superb.
The second scene is, when Preity returns Aamir's jacket/coat to him and Says... "Mujhe pata hai...ki Opera mein aankhen band karne pe tumne us Moti Opera Singer ka chehra nahi dekha tha".... the way she says it... just amazing.. )

3. Hum Aapke Hai Kaun (The scene when Salman comes from offce and Madhuri Serves him dinner... their conversation is simple..n yet very romantic... especially that part when Madhuri says to salman : "aap mein ek buri aadat hai..aap khaate waqt bolte bohat hai"...and salman stops talking... n then madhuri comments "aap doosro ki baat bohat jaldi maan lete hai"... Just lovely...and then the song..pehla pehla pyar hai.)

4. Sholay(The scene where Amitabh is riding a bull & gets down watching Jaya as she unlights the lanterns. Very romanitc with the background score acting as the icing on the cake..simple adoreable)

5. Notting Hill (The famous scene, when Julia Roberts utters that famous dialgue... "I m just a girl...standing in front of a boy...asking him to love her")

Wow Bindesh, I am quite amazed that there is someone else who likes the very scenes I do!! I agree with ALL of yours, and number one is absolutely Fanaa. Especially when she say "ab tumko dar lagrahahe" touching his heart. And he had done the same thing to her before. Awesome man!! I could just feel their love...

AMazing movie, full of eternal moments.
But the best scene has to be on the bridge when srk first fakes his love for kajol and then jokes abt it. the climax comes when he says "palat". amazing scene, amazing movie.
