This is from Dil to Pagal Hai The scene where SRk and Madhuri attend a friend's reception and Madhuri loses her earring and SRK has it and says "Aur Paas". Madhuri was superb and she acts as if she was drawn towards SRK with out even relaizing she was walking towards him.
Another one I like is from the English Movie "The last of the mohicans" where Daniel Day lewis goes to rescue Madeline stowe towards the end of the movie from the natives.
when hemanth birje says 'i love you' to kimi katkar in the movie TARZAN... tht surely is among the most classicest scene in hindi movies history.. ohh tht masculine birje n tht feminine kimi...ohhh tht shyness n tht nervous smile... simply romantic.
For whatever reason it's not talked abt a whole lot but I've always felt the romance between Salman and Madhuri in HAHK was very well done. Barjatya was great at depicting sweet/cute love stories in his first 2 directorial ventures. Pretty much any scene between Salman-Madhuri in HAHK is memorable but these 5 really stick out:
5) Salman/Madhuri crashing together on MD's bed while in pursuit of the dulha's wedding shoes. The mutual awkwardness shared between the 2 once the bed breaks and then Salman twisting MD's hand behind and letting her walk away with the shoes is very romantic. Good background score too.
4) The car scene when Salman picks up Madhuri from her house. MD's face does a lot of talking here while Salman's at his charming best. Brilliant acting by the 2 stars.
3) The scene at the pool following 'Didi Tera Devar Deewana'. Neither Salman or MD are looking at the each other but DAMN the scene is simply oozing with romantic heat. Salman's "Bas, jo bhi aap kehti hai, jo bhi aap karti hai, hume sab kuch acha lagta hai". Madhuri following with "Kyon? Hum Aapke Hain koun?". Explosive words.
2) The scene prior to 'Pehla Pehla Pyar Hai' when MD serves food to the late-arriving Salman from work. Pretty self explanatory. Two people admitting their love for each other w/o really saying it. Coy glances, playful banter, great background music and fine lighting makes this IMO one of the 5 greatest romantic scenes of all time. I see that some other posters in here have included this scene in their list too!
1) The song 'Pehla Pehla Pyar Hai' itself. The most perfectly timed romantic song. Hard to beat the chemistry between Salman-Madhuri here. MD's probably more known for her jodi with Anil Kapoor or even SRK but if you're talking pure romantic chemistry than she's NEVER topped what she had with Salman in HAHK. Same goes for Salman whose probably more known for his work with Ash(HDDCS) or Karishma but he's looked his best with Madhuri.
Other movies where the romance is well done are MPK, DDLJ and QSQT. Little surprise that they all featured classic pairings(Aamir-Juhi, Srk-Kajol and Salman-Bhagyashree).
RE:Salman-Madhuri in HAHK. Also MPK, DDLJ and QSQT.

I so agree with the above about Salman and Madhuri in HAHK. One of the greatest movies of all time! I've watched it at least 200 times. I also love the following:
1) The song "najaane mere dil ko kya..." in DDLJ.
2) "Tadap tadap" in Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam... you totally feel for Salman here. Another romantic moment is with Ajay Devgan and Aishwarya in the train where they don't have a ticket.
3) Well once again I'll say Hum Aapke Hai Kaun... I love the song "Mujhse juda ho kar" I love the way Salman and Madhuri often don't look at each other but their eyes say everything!
4) Dil Toh Paagal Hai- the last scene where Madhuri is saying "jab woh mujhe dekhta hai toh mujhe lagta hai mai khoobsurat hu..."
Oh God... such lovely movies! And there's the ever-lasting pair of Aamir-Juhi Chawla in QSQT. List will go on...
The role of leonardo dicaprio and Kate in Titanic when they hugged & kissed each other in the front of ship and kept their hands like they are going to fly...
The role of shiney ahuja in this movie is beyond any imagination and comparison..the way he loves kangna is out of the world.his tears when he comes to meet her in seoul station and realises within a few mins that she has called the police..his break down and tears prove beyond any words how much he loved her still and couldnt believe that she did this to him.. And the last time she goes to meet him in the jail before he was hanged had a powerful emotional scence, from him behind the bars ..no words..just eyes and tears saying everything!he still loved her soo much! Awesome movie and i find it even more romantic because it showed a man tough to the world but actually so soft and emotional from inside that he cried..for most guys..crying means girly stuff and un-manly..but I feel if one can share his/her deepest emotions with the one u trust and love..its a tremendous romantic and emontional thing.

nooooo This movie was bad. I felt like laughing when he started crying :-) and thanks to Mahesh Bhatt, only he can do this to a wonderful actor like SA
On of the best romantic scenes in the world cinema is from the Hindi film "Solah saal ki kachchi kali"...those from big cities were unfortunate as they could not watch this great movie. This ws released only in small towns only, as it is only for the Connosieurs of the movie. The movie was dubbed from Malayalam , but despite some dubbing hiccpus , the movie was able to convey some great moments of love between the protagonist and his sister-in-law.Also the sister-in-law and the landlord of the teneted house.
In climax of the movie, for the heroine of the movie , one night both her brother in law, and the landlord want to stake claim to her company. She loves both and does not want to disappoitn either, so prefrs the ompany of the milkman instead...The scene where she walks away with the milkman in the stable behind the house....extracts the best emotion from all characters..especially the brother-in-law and the landlord whose moist eyes showed the dejection that has rarely been captures on celluloid in the world cinema...Must watch this movie. I will also recommend some other classic movies , available on CD: Haraami Baalam, Kuch do Kuch lo, Khuli khidki, Chal chhat par chalen.
