even as predicted by millions man united has won the champions league and they fully deserve for the same. hats off to mr.ferguson and his entire team.
If u take the points of old days were win gets 2 and draw 1 then ManU with 26 wins and 6 draw will get 58 points where as Chelsea with 25 wins and 9 draws will get 59 points. What do u say about it.

every team make diiferent plan.If u take the points of old days were win gets 2 and draw 1 then the team strategy would change.manu would change the strategy in prevous matches & i m sure that they will be ahead at the same stage.

Excellent point! Actually, the points system was changed so that the winner gets an extra point, so that more teams will go for a win. Football in the 80's and the early 90's especially the leagues across europe was played very negatively. I think the points system should be further modified, so that even draws, especially ones with scorelines like 2-2 or 3-3 are reawrded, as the games are likely to be very interesting!
Just a thought, manu won 27 games against 25 of Chelsea, which can happen only when ypou play attacking football.Again the chances of losing are also bright if you play attacking football as even one goal conceded can turn you the loosing side.
Let me tell you the life ofthe centarl defender is the toughest in all football. There were many great players who graced that position with distinction!
In the current Euro 2008, Puyol, Ramos, Bosingwa( Portugal) , Pepe ( portugal) all played extraordinary games.
So, if a team does not lose, they can at least defend stoutly and not conceded a goal.
That, i think has to be rewarded. In your case chelsea should be rewarded as they are on the same points on the table both at 60 by the old system.

don't worry.ManU will either loose or draw the game. And this will pave the way for Chelsea. Cheers
Teams like Chelsea do have a long way to go if they are trying to match ManU or Liverpool. Money can buy you players but it takes a lot to create a superstar out of nothing. Ronaldo,Rooney,Giggs,Bechkam,Roy and the list goes on and on.
On the other hand, Chelsea have only bought stars. Kalou,Essien,Drogba,Coles,Ballack,Lampard,Sevchenko and donno who else.. all have been brought at the record fee when the big spending russian flexed his financial muscles. But money doesn't buy character and at the end only that matters. Only Terry is a little respectable from that bunch.

hahaha..good joke. Bro, rooney & ronaldo were already stars before coming to ManU. Ferguson is keen to buy readymade stars only. Others low key players fail after joining ManU (ex Jemba Jemba and many).
Mourinho has proved that only money can bring success. You need to be wise enought to understand and accept that. he bought class players who are always expensive. Gel them together as one team and the result was back to back EPL title and more...

Chelsea is the best team to follow..they have closed the once monopoly of reds....they have proved that any team which has money , can become champion. Good players are always come at high price. If u have no money, buy cheap players and remain as mid table team. If u have money, buy big players, and win trophies... Keep qualiying for champions league, and the return is ensured...

no mike money cant buy the form of great player they have not proved that any team which has money , can become champion..take the example of real madrid in 2005.they have ronaldo beckham zidane figo roberto carlos &many but they fail to clinch title in 2004 & 2005.that was the poorest performance of real madrid ever..
