Where is Monica Seles?
by ravi boppudi on May 20, 2008 01:12 PM  Permalink

I can't but wonder how in the world the slide show could miss Monica Seles, the player who used to beat Steffi Graff hands down before she was stabbed?

Sad to see such great players retiring so early!!!!!!!!!
by Harish Kashyap on May 19, 2008 09:29 AM  Permalink

Wonder what records would Borg would have set if he had continued playing and retired normally. Rightly, he was ranked the 2nd greatest player of all time behind Rod Laver.

It's also sad to other great players retiring so early like Henin, Clijsters, Hingis, etc. We would have loved to see more of them.

Could we have a statistical report of the Tennis legends like Stefan Edberg, Ivan Lendl, Jimmy Connors, Jim Courier and of course Boris Becker and what are they doing nowadays. Could also want to see their recent pics.

I have a feeling Roger Federer is going to retire next year. This guy looks totally out of place this year.
I do not think he is going to win anything this year.

May be he should take a break. But I tell you this guy is once in a generation player. He will bounce back and I am sure he will break Pete's record of maximum grand slams. In hindsight, Rafeal Nadals looks to be good candinate for early retirement because his style of play is more prone to injuries

He is back to his winning ways. Reaching quarter of ATP master series of clay (his least favoured surfact) and has just reaching semis of other.. Wait for Grass and Hardcourt, he will back..
