Utter disgrace. We played horrible hockey and were well beaten by GB. Our ranking in world hockey will be about 12-13 after this. That is a true reflection of rubbish we are. All our players made basic errors. We were pretty rubbish in both of the meaningful matches against GB.This loss was not a fluke. We do not deserve to go to the olympics.

GB join New Zealand, China, Netherlands, South Korea, Canada, South Africa, Spain, Belarus, Pakistan and Australia in the 12-team Olympic competition.

very shameful defeat, Carvalho, Jyothikumaran and Gill have achieved total disaster for Indian Hockey. Why the hell we didnt took any advice from Ric Charlesworth??? Now Womens Hockey qualifier is there in mid april and again there India has stiff challenge against USA. This olympics, we will have a very small contignent. Sack Carvalho and when will Jyothimumaran be removed from his post???

why to blame carvolo who has just started with indian hockey team..that not even a year...
Hockey is in a very sory state these days,how many Indians know that hockey is the National sport? from world champions we are reduced to rubbles, and we Indians think about winning in cricket only.What a shame.
I remember their last big final ...not sure but it was with s.korea....they played very positively and wr not dependent on penalty corners as it used to happen for last few years.
This is new avatar of Indian hockey team which is positive, agressive and confident......
players should give their best in finals....afterall our national game is hockey!!!
