This is not a mistake. In some of the games (like badminton) you get the bronze even if you loose the semifinal. So two players get two bronze medals

no.... she just needs to win the quarter final and qualify for the last four.... win or loose in the semi final will give a medal i believe.

You are right. She needs to win the quarter final and either win or loose the semi-final (but win the 3rd place play off) to get a medal. Rediff is either too confused or too excited

well i dont see sania mirza going too far anymore....esp her 1st round exit at the olympics and her ranking slipping well below the 50th position on the latest ATP charts
Who has written this report !!! At one place it says Wang is 4th seed and at the other it says she is 5th seed. what is her exact position in the world ranking ?????

look up the difference between seed in a tournament and between world ranking
