Falcon, I have seen the same reply posted by many muslims. That is only meant enhancing your feel-good factor. The present day muslims in the Indian sub-continent are the decendants of those who were used and abused by the invaders and those who follow the native culture are the decendants of those who fought with them valiantly (of course some of them might have used even tactics to avoid persecution).
