Mr KPS Gill was closely associated with Jothikumaran for the last 15 years. Hence he should also be kicked out of the IHF. There is a need to review the functioning of all sports bodies. Mr Priya Ranjan Das Munshi has been the Head of the football federation for a long time even though the results have been poor. There should be limit of five years for the tenure of a Head of the federation. We need highly professonal and committed people to run out sports bodies with accountability. Preference should be given to those who have played the sport at the highest level. Let us hope this incident will result in a new dawn for Indian sport.

Gill tera baap hai kya, how the hell can you conclude that I am favouring jothikumaran. in fact gill should be sent to fight terrorism wherever it exists as he is an expert in that field.
all deserving players who were robbed of a opportunity to play for the country, and who could have made a difference to the shoddy performance of the national hockey team, should be given a chance now. they should be permitted to take up their hockey sticks and bash up these no good officials of the game. this would prevent such incidents happening in the future.
Hockey is our national sport and as he has been involved in a corruption scandal involving our national sport, he should not be spared and should be sent to jail for a minimum of 3 years!!

Well, not qualifying for the Olympics for the first time ever would have been sufficient reason for the IHF leadership to quit. To put it in perspective, can you imagine the repercussions if Brazil do not qualify for the World cup? But then, our officialdom is full of thick-skinned people - as thick as the one-horned rhinoceros! Kudos to the TV channel, it has achieved what even our hockey players could not, despite all their hardwork. But then, come to think of it, who would pay 3 lakhs bribe to get into the national hockey team :)) Shows, that people like Jothikumaran are not only thick-skinned, but also lack common sense!
