Why Indians are mute to Chinese Oppression
by J.Peedika on Apr 17, 2008 11:34 AM  Permalink

There are no Indians worth mentioning who organise a protest against the brutal chinese oppression. A handful of Tibetans are left alone to make some noce. It is a shame on us that we do not orgainse or participate with the Tibetance.
Mr.Karat and Yechry must be given the torch to be taken during its sujourn in India. These shameful Indians will have a feeling of pride on India soil if they do it. They will be ready to run through the whole of India and the Indian goverment can save money for the security arrangement. Because the communist will bring their head hunting caqdets from Kannur, Kerala and roudy cadets from Kuttanad who prevented the farmers from using harvesting machines

Tibetan supporters
by gac on Apr 17, 2008 11:34 AM  Permalink

do you really think the world political leaders wont know wats happenin in tibet n only by this agitation they would know? if it is s then u must b really insane.. the target audience of this agitation r ppl like u n the dumb celebs worldwide. if these tibetans r really men enough to fight for their freedom as they are claiming them self's to be they will be fighting from their homeland as true sons of the soil, rather these tibetans are enjoying the refugee status around the world n enjoying the benefits from the charity funds. for which is why they are creating this propaganda stunts to extract more funds which indirectly exploiting local taxpayers. and do u also think that these tibetans who r creating troubles in the name freedom in india, US, UK, France will leave these countries n go to tibet if they get freedom n serve dalai lama? if u think they would, then their agitation is a real success with ppl like u....

all because of commmie parties
by ralph nader on Apr 17, 2008 11:28 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

our spineless govt will have to bow and scrape before china--self pride is forgotten when lust for power and greed for illegal money cannot be sacrificed. The stupid CPI(M) will wax eloquent about atrocities real and imagined all over the world but when talk is about China they behave like a bunch of castigated schoolboys.

Peaceful Demonstration from Aggressive Front

Delhi BJP chief, Harsh Vardhan said that Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is planning to organise a 'peaceful demonstration' against alleged human rights violations in Tibet when the Olympic Torch Relay in New Delhi.

The world media reported when Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)-Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) fascists attacked another national political party CPI(M)'s national headquarters in New Delhi on March 9, 2008. Those goons attacked 5 Central Committee Members, 10 other supporters, shattered window panes of the building and damaged cars parked on the premises.

BJP leaders, with full of bricks and stones in their vehicles, including its Delhi unit chief Harsh Vardhan, Mayor Aarti Mehra, and Leader of the Opposition in the Delhi Assembly Jagdish Mukhi, and arrested 15 BJP leaders.

Harsh Vardhan has never said a word again his own goons attacked or killed the following holy places or person:

Demolision of Babri Masjid; above 2000 Muslims are butchered on Gujarat carnage 2002; Attack on MF Hussain, Chandra Mohan and Panicker like artists; attack on Parzania, Fana, Water, Tare Zamin Par, like pictures; exhort Islamic terrorists to Khandahar; 3rd class political attack on Pratibha Patil, UPA-Left Presidential candidate as its anti-women propaganda...

Nazi Germany hosted the Olympics, a segregated America hosted it, a divided Korea hosted it, so why not China? It is appropriate reward for their sporting achievements.
On the other hand, India's participation will make no difference except to some poor hardworking, unsung athletes.
Rahi baat Tibet ki, all we need to do is look at our own "backyard" read Kashmir, Assam, Mizoram etc.
So why don't we separate sport from whatever our political beliefs may be, and just support the spirit of the games.
