Why should politicians, film stars, babus and cricketers should participate in Olympic ceremonies? What they have to do with Olympics. Let the sportsmen who participate in olympic games carry the torch.
Baichung's decision to abstain is commendable. At least there is one person in this country who has the courage to speak the real reason and stand up to the power. Big salute to him.
For all others, personal and commercial matters are above all.

Agree. What surprises me is no one has the balls to state the real reasons for pulling out. Baichung at least spoke out. Anyway, this Olympics is likely to be a flop due to Tibet issue.
