He woudlve if they had offered money for it as well
by Raman on Apr 17, 2008 06:49 PM  Permalink

Maybe they should give him a old Ambassador car and wave the tax on it then he will run with the Torch and give one of his usual speeches on how he wants to play for 10 more years as he knows what he is doing and others like Manjrekar dont know what they are talking about..
Shame on u Sachin, resting to play for IPL,how much money is enough for you god only knows?

by Cedric Vaz on Apr 17, 2008 04:34 PM  Permalink

Sachin may now even be physically unfit to run a short distance with the torch. That is why he has opted out.......... !

intriguing sachin

I wud hv liked Sachin to withdraw but if that was done for the Tibetan cause, nd not for the reasons for preparations of IPL.
First refusal has some motive, but the second refusal smells opportunism on the part of Sachin.

If we are Indian, and have a commonscense, we can see what is going on in china. Look at the past, don't forget the beating/cheating we got from this Chinky country. If i am sports minister, i will boycot this whole Olympics event, with out a second thought. ( I am not Pro american, neither i am tibetan)
