For all those who say Cricket is not an Oly sport, its atleast a sport. The European mafia have maintained events like gymnastics and figure skating as sports. And USA has kept baseball in it. BCCI should influence IOC to include cricket back as an Oly sport. We have 20% of the world population and all the money dont we.
I wud hv liked Sachin to withdraw but if that was done for the Tibetan cause, nd not for the reasons for preparations of IPL. First refusal has some motive, but the second refusal smells opportunism on the part of Sachin.

Why politicise sport man? What do you know about Tibet or China. These issues are hudnreds of years old. SL never stopped playing against us cos of LTTE. Lets not mix them both. Btw, Sachin may have been most distraught by this. Who wouldnt feel bad if they are denied by some selfish people a right to run with the Oly torch. Even as an amateur club level sportsman I feel bad, wonder how it must be for someone who has played from day 1.
