Film Stars and politicians do not make the country, it is the ordinary people, and sportspersons sweat it out on the tracks, fields and arenas. These short term publicity seekers will one day fade away into history as would be the sportspersons, but the legacy that the sportspersons will leave behind will carry on, as legends. We still recall the World Cup won by Kapil Dev's team, though BCCI today, ruled by politicians, has forgotten it, and placed him on a rebel's list just because he is promoting an ICL, which will fathom the unfortunate few cricketers who would otherwise will never make to the Indian Cricket teams.
its one of the great foolish to participate in this rally, if and when its run by the politicians and the film personalities. we are the citizen of india and they also but in this case they cant to run a rally like this give it to the people of india who have made them politicians and supported the film personalities. Its mt openion whatabout others i dont mind........
Sports and acting are different fields. In sports events film stars should participate like spectators only. They should not join in torch bearing run.

YES, because in a country with fewer athletes per thousand people, film stars are apparantly more fit than anyone else, besides, we worship them as gods so who better to cary the torch?
I think here also the govt should have a quota system :))because I guess that is the in-thing with this goverment which is bend to destroy the country by using its 50 yrs old tactics of divide & rule
