Both politicians and filmstars are actors. Sportsman sweat it out to perform and earn a victory and represent the country worldwide. My personal request is to keep all these actors away from thi event.

This not bollywood. This is real. Have you ever seen movie actors running with Olymic torch in Los Angles, Tokyo ,Rome,S.Korea or Mexico? Look stupid to see pretty boy running with the Olympic torch.I bet they dont mind to lip sing while the run. They dont deserve .That must be done by India's sports person.

If Gill can rule Indian Hockey federation with out playing hockey for India, then I don't see any problem in Film stars carrying olympic torch.

You are confusing the two Gills. The one quoted is MS Gill, sports minister, not KPS Gill, hockey chief. Incidentally, MS Gill was a mountaineer in his youth, trained by Tenzing.

this is the gross insult of sport and sportsmen in this country that they are neglected and film stars and politician are invited to participate in olympic touch relay...this will not only hurt the sentiments of sports but it is a gross insult of every sports lover......I red statement of Kalamadi that they are so many sportsman who wanted to participate but he is not able to invite them all...even Sachin has to call this moron and request him for his participation.... while on other side Saif, Aamir etc. were invited by Kalamadi himself so that event is glamorised morever hyped and he gets more money from sponsorship of the event... all money greedy of money...they have nothing to do with sports...unless these morons are removed from these regulatory positions...nothing good is going to happen for India
Decisions are taken by littered and worthless politicians...so it has to be a PAMPER SHOW and bears no class or pride ...all farse...thats why sports in India is so dimal and poor.
