sachin want only fame..nothing else..well i am not gr88 fan of sachin ..so far if u see his records he never play for whole team he only play his personal records.. just see bhutia he is the man realy down the earth .. he know very well wats happening in tibbat ..and ..i think sachin doesnt know abt china human rights records. and wat china executed on tiananmen square in 1989, it was massacre, india should avoid torch relay .Even Tailwan restrict torch relay in his territory i don know when our spinless UPA govet. wakeup and standaup against china.. just remember sardar ballabhbhai patel's word he warned Nehru dat time chian will be biggest threat to india if india recognize tibbat as part of china..now i realy shame on indian Govt..raly hate to see begging before china..

Raman actualy keeps saying how much Indian muslims are moderate and important for India. What do you self-appointed secularists want anyway? Do you want someone to say how bad the HIndus are and how absolutely divine the minorities are???

All of you smart alecs who support China and talk about secularism, the open letter is meant for all who are like Aaamir Khan. Raman doesnt have to write letters to everyone. Why dont YOU guys write a letter to Sachin instead and congratulate him and see if he cares.
Wasnt he injured and indisposed for the Country just yesterday....and again he will be fit for IPL tomorrow....THESE are the PEOPLE carrying the TORCH....like the POILITICIANS..shame on all.
Don't think that just Tibetans are being harassed by chinese communists.
What is harrowing is that the plight of Uighur and Hui Muslims in china is equally distressing but does not get highlighted. At least the Xinjiang Muslims should have setup a government in exile in Pakistan. If Pakistan was indeed the land of the pure. That has not happened.
These Muslim peoples have suffered the same fate as Tibetans. Their lands have been taken over and they are being dominated Lock, Stock and Barrel by the Han chinese.
Even to hold Friday prayers they have to ask permission from authorities. They suffer from Random arrests, torture and deportations just like Tibetans. Korans are confiscated and the Muezzins are not allowed to call the faithful to prayer.
The only problem is that their agony has not received the publicity which it needs to receive. Only 10% of what the Tibetans have received.
So It is our duty as freedom loving citizens of a free country to express our solidarity with these unfortunate people also.
What has Olympics got to do with Tibetian freedom? Sachin is doing the right thing by carrying the torch. Dalai Lama may be a good soul but he and his followers are trying to unnecessarily politicizing an age old tradition which is the torch of Olympics and thereby insulting humanity as a whole. Why mix sports with politics?
