Relation with China
by manoj nair on Apr 08, 2008 10:17 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

China have their own stand like Indian have.. We indian's shouldnt trouble the rally.. It should be proud that legends like sachin, Milkha, carrying the light.. in India. It is clear indication to the world that Indian have own stand and that will not mix with any type of Issues with China. Olympics had fixed not y'day. Venue fixed a long back. Tibet leader Lama, tried to highlight the issue now, the reasons were very clear. India govt had given strong message that not to invlove any activities, which effect the relation of China and lama will obay, other wise, Lama will be in trouble. India and China is competing each other for getting No 1 position in world after US ,, and it should be in a good ground. Not to mix with a Game like Olympics. Govt stand is very clear and appreciable

Sachin???????????????
by V Krishnan on Apr 08, 2008 10:14 AM  Permalink

Sachin and Olympics !!!!!!!!!!!!!!m no relation. Suresh Kalmadi is looking to give much fame to the event. We have many other sports personnel whose games are part of Olympics. My advise is Sachin should stay away from such acts, at least now when there is a critisysm to the event itself, without giving rooms for unhealth discussins.

guys who are criticising sachin,sd understand the spirit in which he is carrying the torch.

It s a politics played by the western media.
Although i do not support the acts of china in Tibet,But on that count no country in this world is eligible to to hold olympics.

Every country violates Human Rights by some form or other.Dont you think the violence in nandigram was any lesser.

If the western media is so concenned about the human rights in China, then why did they allow China to organise the Olympics at the first place. Its not that the human rights violation in china happening just recently. Is a old age phenomenon.

Its only a ploy by the western countries to demean China which is in the verge of becoming Super power toppling all those countries(Where protests are fierce)

If tomorrow there is a olympics in INdia then these western countries would oppose to it to citing the examples of gujrat and kashmir.

So guys dont get biased by the western media propaganda.

sachin does not support china - only the games
by raj on Apr 08, 2008 10:02 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

lots of athletes support the olympics, and want to participate in the torch relay. they do not support china intentionally. its just that china happens to host this olympics, and it might be some athletes' only chance to participate in the relay.

sachin isnt endorsing china.

if china counts this as a positive - they are so paranoid that they started counting individuals for their support!

China is the organiser of this Olympic to gain publicity. Those who would glorify the vanity of the Chinese are indirectly supporting the inhuman policy of China towards Tibet, East Turkistan, Manchuria, Mongolia and Taiwan.

fellow friends,
dont blame sachin. the issue gets diverted from china in tibet to indians with torch, and politics in game which is already politicised.

sure, he should have.
but he had done a lot to the game and if he declines it would be seen as sachin vs indian govt which might have wanted him to carry the torch to satisy chin.
we shall comment on our govt stand.
