Dissapointing Media
by arvind agarwal on Sep 10, 2007 05:12 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

After watching India swamp South Korea in such an emphatic manner I was anticipating huge headlines to follow the next day in our national dailies.

What i saw however left me completely disgusted with the media. Times of India DNA all gave miniscule coverage of the match and the main page featured a larger article on Asafa Powell while the Indian victory came in only as a footnote.

Shame on the National Media on their pathetic mindset.

Well said.....
The least REDIFF could have done was to have it as a headline. One has to search for this item in the sports section when it should have been on the main page....
Anyway CONGRATULATIONS to the Indian Team for the fabulous performance....Well played.

This was amazing performance. Congratulations to the Indian Team and also Joachim Carvalho for bringing about this transformation. We should not rest on our laurels because the real test is when we face the Europeans and the Australians. Nonetheless, enjoy the moment.
Congratulations once again.

Venkat Gopal.

Conratulations...
by somil modi on Sep 10, 2007 03:46 PM  Permalink

Congrats Team India... Good days are back.. and the men in blue are back with a bang. All other teams, get back..... make way, the real masters of game are back to conquer everyone...

i wish all the team and the indian coach my heartiest conratulations. It was the classical and calculated aggresive hockey we has been known for. All the players are in very good touch and flare. I loved and was exited while watching the style of hockey played by india. Hats off to the players for their spirited and hard worked performance from players and the coach. All the hard work has finally started to pay. I really wish indian govt. also puts in more money to make things better still for the players and hockey itself. This would be great motivation factor for all the players. As playing better is a continual process i hope and rather i am confident that we will continue with such hard work and good performance for other tournaments also...

Well once again .. Best of luck for future nad congratulations... i am proud of whole of my hockey team.. Bravo.....and as everyone else is saying ... Chakkk deeeeeeeeee..........

Luv u all
