The Republic of India MENS hockey team is defintely the best all time hockey team in the World with 8 olympic golds.
However, on ones ever heard of the India WOMENS hockey team as potrayed in the comedy show produced by the Bombay Boooollywood of Charrukkh Kann and 17 women waltzing around grass in an Australian stadium.
Next time, the Boooollywood should make a movie of the India MENS hockey team which would be more sensible.
What an awesome performance by our Hockey players. They created wonderful record by not losing any match in the whole tournament. Congrats to all the players and the coach. Our country should recognize this victory and give the players a more sophisticated training and a very decent salary, equivalent to that of a national cricket player. Cricket is even being talked in the parliment...will they recognize and bless our Hockey players?

asian cup hockey is not telecasted by DD national but the cricket match between england and india has been telecated in the DD national:-( its hard to digest for the interest shown by the government channel on the national game
