Congratulations! And more congratulations guys! You did us proud on this day, when you routed the Koreans out of the field. They did not know, what was bludgeoning them like that. You guys were simply marvellous. The credit goes entirely to you, your coach Joaquim and the fans, who cheered you till the last hooter. The IHF need not take the credit at all, because very soon we will hear of some messing about that they will do with this team and once again bring them down to the dumps. I trust KPSG and Jyotikumaran to do the needful on that front. The boys, when the start getting the credit for their fantastic dream performance, these two stalwarts will step in and stem the tide. They want to be in every frame of odes to this success and in the process trample over a few of the real stars. Watch out boys! These chaps can do a lot of harm, not only to you but to the entire nation of hockey lovers. They have made it earlier, by making our national game a national shame and will do it again. You guys please help us and do your unforgettable bit to revive our glorious days on the hockey field and we have the confidence in you chaps to do it for us. We are starved for success in the astroturf guys and need you to take us there in style. You will do it, if the game you played yesterday is any indication of the days to come. We await the future with baited breath and fingers crossed. May God bless you and guide you from here to eternity! Bravo and keep it up!

Well done India. We are proud of you. Please continue the same streak and zeal against better and tougher opponents. Its time India came at being the superpower in Hockey and tell the cricket crazy fans how good this game is.
Congrats, for keeping the trophy on our side for consecutive times. Aggression showed by Indian team was icing on a cake. Usually we don't see such huge victory margin Vs. good teams like Korea.I think GEN nxt players are tuff, smart n aggressive. We can hope lot of good things from this bunch of men in BLUE. Coach deserves a word of appreciation.
Winning the Asia Cup really made the Indians proud. The big 7-2 win against Korea is itself a good and great thing and surely must have delighted the Indian players and their coach, manager and support staff. It must have induced enthusiasm among the Indian players to perform better and better with every tournament coming their way and fetch many more such wins for India. The joy of bagging the Asia Cup really replaced the sorrow of losing the Natwest Series in England. With cricket as the game monopolising the sports world over, sportspersons from other sports too have to be ready to work hard, to make their respective sport equally popular and register their achievements, for the Sport and country to flourish. The recent Nehru Cup win vs Syria, by our Football Team was also an honour as well as an effort by the Indian Football Team to make the sport a success in India.

Sneha, u touched upon many good points in ur post. The problem with other sports in INDIA is lack of support from Media, Sports Autorities n even from us. We need to infuse cash into these sports to take them to a world-class level. I hope after two good wins in different formats by Men in Blue, Sports Administrators will take note of this n will start working on it.

Very well said Sneha. You have put the point in the right perspective. Performance is the only indicator of success and if Indian sportsman continue performing consistently they will definitely taste commercial success too, like their cricketing counterparts ann sportsmen the world over.
heartiest congratulations to indian hockey team on winning the asia cup 2007 we are proud on you well done. it was the result of your hard work and team spirit and country spirit keep it up
