I am a lover of hockey sport and in past 25 years it is the first time i have seen such a splendid performance from our players
They outplayed korea in the field game as well as stamina
I wish that we continue to see such performances in future, but for that it is our as well as governments responsibility to believe in our players and give them all the money, attention and tecnology. We should love hockey the same way we love the game of cricket. Give equal attention to hockey and all other sports. Its high time now. Thanks to Team India of hockey for making us proud and happy

You ve made us proud by getting (romping) the Asia Cup back. I expect the same from you in the World Cup. Though the competition is tough and recognition very less you made us proud. The respect for you has gone up in other words you need a standing ovation. Keep in mind tha Olympics is not far away and we fans are backing you here at home, and are eagarly waiting for medal coated in gold. The Aussies, the Dutch, the Germans, the Spainiards and Pakistanis will be there to beat, so rest less and bring the Medal back to India.Show them that Indians are not only peoples of 1 Billion but also 11 men on field have the guts to give shivers to best of teams in the world.

Appears credit is being claimed by the Bombay Booollywood ? The Republic of India MENS hockey team is defintely the best all time hockey team in the World with 8 olympic golds.
However, on ones ever heard of the India WOMENS hockey team as potrayed in the comedy show produced by the Bombay Boooollywood of Charrukkh Kann and 17 women waltzing around grass in an Australian stadium. Next time, the Boooollywood should make a movie of the India MENS hockey team which would be more sensible & realistic.
ps: America lost 4-0 to the India MENS hockey team in the 1996 Atlanta olympics.

i dont agree with mr.buggs bunny, though Indian womens hockey team has not won. it had won bronze in comman wealth where indian mens team was no where( i am not blaming mens team).
The point is women hockey players are equally gr8, only the thing is they dont get enough financial and moral support.
