Congratulations to Carvalho and his men for the epoch making win which ushers a glorious future for Indian hockey. What stood out was the manner in which India took all comers. It was vintage India. I hope the Indian corporate houses and the media support India and shed their obsession of riding piggy back on the popularity of cricket for truly hockey is India's national sport. This is not just in the interest of Indian hockey as the world is waiting for India to re-emerge as a hockey superpower. For India is to hockey what Brazil is to soccer.
In India every game is overshadowed by Cricket, although where we are always being called as chokers. so the poor shows by the indian cricket team has now buried by the Hocket Team which gives us something to Cheer about.
