MU, Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool
by TongInChic on Sep 03, 2007 08:37 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

MU has spent a lot of money and have picked up a bunch of good players. They need time to settle down and get into the rhythm. I think MU has the best team on paper and I think they will be winners at the end. Not that I am a MU fan.
Chelsea are a funny lot. After spending so much money in the first year, now they are not spending anything at all - at least not comparable to what they had in the past. They are now to be considered as the dark horse of the EPL.
Arsenal took a gamble picking up young players and building them up. They are getting better and better playing as a team and they will be competing with MU for the title.
Liverpool? I never know what to think about them. Sometimes they send your blood racing and sometimes they are dull. Where will they be at the end of the season? Your guess is as good as mine - and the coach's!!

This is the true reflection of the league this season...There are many teams who'd b fighting 4 the reconing this season n not only the big four...N this result is a slap for all those people out there who were of the thought that the league is boring...

My vote for the Gunners.

But the EPL is coming very close to being a wrestlers paradise. You only have to see the corners to realise that. As for pulling shirts/shorts, the less said the better.

That is why the English team does not do well on the international stage, where the rules are stricter.

You can see better football in the Italian and Spanish leagues. But their packaging is very much inferior to the EPL.

Anyway, it is better than watching the pathetic performance of our cricketers.
