Sania Mirza is consistent in performing in advertisements, changing partners and coaches, finding excuses after she looses a match every time, being unfit, loosing in first or second rounds, not believing in herself, not taking own decisions ,footlagging in difficult and do or die situations , lacking in concentration. When she looses on a clay ground she argues that she likes to play on a grass court but there too she `crashes down`in first rounds in `tier 3`tournaments,leave aside Grand Slams. At her age when energy levels are to a peak she stays from the game for months together. Her ranking goes up mostly because of bad plays of her upper rankers.Media should stop hyping her minor wins, comments and even defeats. It seems that they dont have enough material to cover that they are giving undue coverage to Sania.

there r so many sportspersons in india whose rankings goes up and down that too at 1st, 2nd places. but i hardly seen rediff or other media publishing it. what a biased media we have..
glamour sells in india, this is the only reason sania is gettin any attention from media, there are a few sports in which india has done well (like chess, boxing, etc) and they dont get much attention, coz glamour sells baby
Guess sania has paid some money to Rediff to promote herself. Thats why you guys are so much behind her. For us tennis fans, its a known fact that she is more of a model than a tennis player and our expectations are now zero. Guess everybody knows that she is not half as good for all the coverage she gets. She struggles even in tournaments of a third grade. Forget about a quarter final she seldom gets past the second round. Everybody is wasting time. I wonder if the time will ever come when Rediff also stops doing coverage for her. I hope it does. Boooooooooo Sania Mirza!

I agree with you totally. The Media should stop giving any Coverage to Sania until she wins atleast 2-3 WTA Tournaments beating top ranking Tennis players. G.Raghavan
I cant understand why the media is behind Sania. If she ranks 32, what is the speciality in the news? She is not such a personality in Indian Sports. Only the media is projecting her as equivalent to international players and thereby spoiling her career and future. When her ratings come under 10, then you write about it. The failure of Sania is that she is unnecessarily praised and projected by media. Media should go to some serious issues instead of these silly things. You leave Sania, let her concentrate on her game. Very bad of media.
