Veterans Paulo Maldini and striker Pipo Inzaghi continue to impress one and all with their solid and purposeful play. The two keep getting younger year by year.
AC Milan should hae been allowed to play Champion's league after being involved in Match fixing scandal... It's a shame that a club involved in match fixing wins this kind of prestigious tournament

well if we go by ur theory my friend, then Italy shouldnt hv been allowed to play in WC 06 and may be india, pakistan, australia should never play cricket..
You are the best AC Milan win Because World cup and UEFA cup countinue gets win for Italian Really Big Victory for Italian team sprit I wish all the matches you can win
Cricket team should have watched the game yesterday especially Gattuso. he was on absolute fire and was passionate. Our players are rubbish and lack passion like Milan or even Liverpool
Milan is Milan. Fluke Loserpool found why Milan are the giants of European football. Liverpool are fluke and didnt deserve to reach finals. Chelsea were better in semis. Kaka, Gattuso, Inzhagi showed what Italian football is.

Rantings of a rookie football fan! Sourav why dont you keep your comments limited to your namesake the great DADA?
THESE 2 R THE BACKBONE OF LIVERPOOL . THEY R UNDERRATED PLAYERS BUT DO MORE WORK THAN BIG NAMES LIKE GERRARD. THEY CAN PULL OF EXCELLENT GOALS FROM ANY DISTANCE. THEY BOTH OF THEM HAVE DEVASTATING LONG RANGE SHOTS. I HAVE SEEN ALONSO SCORING GOALS FROM BEHIND THE CENTER LINE.
Liverpool enjoyed most of the possession. but they lacked the finishing touch. I think Crouch should have been brought on much earlier, even in place of Kuyt. Though he scored a goal, he was not at all effective. But full marks to Milan, they utilised whatever opportunities they got. I particularly noticed thet their offside traps were much more effective, which was not the case with Liverpool. In fact their failure in this cost them a goal. Kaka and Seedore were marked very tightly, but Philippo Inzaghi made up fot it. And Maldini remains an ageless wonder. So, AC MIlan had its revenge, and its 1-1 with respect to face-to-face meetings in finals. Who knows they might meet next time, and produce another thriler a la 2005.

Your absolutely right on the offside trap. But then the Italians have masters that art, in particlar Milan under the watchfull eyes of Arrigo Sacchi during the late 80's and the mid 90's. Cudos to the Italians.

Yes friend Milan are the real champs. They r the most consistent performers in the history of European football
Liverpool created more chances but lacked quality upfront..milan were a better side technically n converted the few chances they got..also the first milan goal was bit lucky but the second was a masterclass..inzaghi(intelligent striker with loads of UCL experience) ws in top form and kaka played well..so also nesta with some last ditch tackles.for liverpool gerrard played well n mascherano did a good job of containing kaka.
