Indian hockey team in this comp. was very young and we have new captain. we gone to semis by beating argentina so that is good job done by new coach. so it is new begining for hockey.
This is the same excuse given since 20 years. These people never changed. Hockey is no more old type of hockey where dribling was main now a days it is physical and fast paced game. we dont match the speed and physical stamina of koreans, Aussies and Europeans. Throw out Gill and bring some European type of hockey. When was the last time we won on those top european teams.?

You are right.Indians don't have the stamina to match the top teams. But the same excuse has been given for the last 35 years and not just 20. India will not even qualify for the Beijing Olympics. They will most certainly give the same excuse when they fail to qualify. India started to fade in the late 1960's when the Europeans took over.
