...and how exactly will you drive the F1 on Delhi streets...on two wheels..or rather 3 wheels. Common yaar, forget bringing F1 to india, lets Delhi use taxpayers money to build atleast a cycleable road.
Chandrababu Naidu had spoken a few years earlier about attracting F1 to hyderabad when the others were not even contemplating anything near to tht. His defeat in elections had pushed this idea into the recycle bin :(

Chennai might not have the glitz of Mumbai or Delhi! But we have motorsport history! we have India's first and probably only completed international standards racing track (Irungattukottai). We have 4 drivers racing for India (Karthikeyan, Armnaan ebrahim, karun chandok & parameshwaran)! But i guess the F1 world looks at many more factors before deciding the Venue. Hope they choose Chennai.
I doubt India could host a F1 race in near future. It needs lots of resources. With the present Condidtion of India, Its next to impossible...We are not upto the F1 Standards. Somehow the article seemed like a jike to me,...
