Sania is doing good
by Bhushan Bhangale on Jun 27, 2007 04:38 PM  Permalink

Sania is doing and hopefully it will improve the sports in India. She is doing what she can i.e. trying to perform and getting the limelight. People (ofcourse not everybody) will watch tennis for her in India and this will increase popularity. Doesn't matter as most of championship in tennis is individual but when the name comes its Sania from India.

Well, Hari, it's not really about how she fares against the rest of the female tennis players. The main reason she is so talked about is because she is pretty much the only Indian singles player of any repute right now. She is nowhere near the best in the world, but she is way way better than the best that India has been able to produce in recent years.

As always. Sania wins first round looses second round. Most overhyped player in India. She can quit the circuit now.
