rediff pls dont post any topics abt any game other than Cricket. People dont like and dont deserve to know abt them. People just know to Cry and criticise when the Indian Cricket team loses. India should not be allowed to participate in Football unless such mentality exists...Sorry to say...but its a Fact...

that is wrong statement..In kerala,Football is more popular than cricket..Most people favorite game is football..Accoring to FIFA,india have good position(may 5th) among world cup football viewers..according to ESPN/STAR,more indian viewing EPL.(English premier leg.)

Yes friend i agree with u. My comment was on the people at large. I know there are few people like u and me who watch football and enjoy it. Just observe...when a cricket related topic is posted there are hundreds of posts. On this topic there are hardly 5 posts.
Henry was a failure in 1998 when incidentally France won the cup. But who scored the winner against Brazil this year in Germany? He is a class act which you can only understand once you see him play in the premiership.

Hello Friend....I m a die hard football fan and watch all matches...and Zidane was responsible for that Brazil goal. Henry is a good player but is a failure for France. Visit some forums like ESPN-STAR. All pundits too agree with it.
Henry finds himself helpless when he plays for France. he scores hundreds of goals when he plays for his club Arsenal. No use of such players. Thats why he doesnt win Player of the year award. Zinedine Zidane is the Best player ever.

Henry is one of the best in the league.His pace/skill/pure sense of situation play was great. Obviously such players require players of same wave length to be there in their squad.French squads are not picked on merit alone thats why he struggles for france.
Watching theiry with Vierra/Pires/Berkamp was a joy in the past yrs.

Henry is a good player but yu cannot compare him with zidane he was legend.Zidane and Ronaldo aerre truly world class players of the mordern times.then comes Ronaldiniho and Henry.

Zidane who??? The greatest player ever to play this game. He is 3 time Player of the year. Henry hasnt won it even once. And for ur info he still holds a record for being the most Expensive player in the transfer history. Real Madrid paid around 63 million dollars to Juventus for him...
