He might have fared well in this game.but he need to carry on the good work.steven gerrad is not so inspirational as he is for liverpool. He inspired liverpool to one of the greatest comeback victory against milan 2 years ago,regarded one of the greatest comeback in 52 years in champions league final.

I absolutely agree that Michael owen is the main, though its sad that the last 2 seasons, he has missed most due to injuries.But u gotta see him run with the ball....he's just amazing. On a personal level too, he is a very nice guy. Considering that in today's "ego" world of football players, he not only bought a house for himself with this first season's pay, but also a house each for his sisters ( two, i think ) and a big villa for his parents .... So, there you have it !!! But im sure the beckham fans will try to potray a different image though *sigh*
