Bhupathi-Sania bow out
by Manoj Nair on Jul 06, 2007 11:04 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

It is not the end of the road for Ms Mirza or to Mr Bhupati, they will raise to the top level, as Mr Bhupati is a born fighter, He is the Frank Sinatra of Tennis, about Ms Mirza, she can make a good doubles player with someone experienced like mr Bhupati, and I am sure they gonna take some Doubles title back home. So I request all the bloggers here, please dont write off them, 'IT IS JUST THE TIP OF THE ICEBERG'. So wait and see. Thanks

Mahesh is one of the finest players the world has ever produced. His tecnique is close to John Mc Enroe. It is only his bad luck that he has never won a major title

Bhupati-Sonia lost.
by sweetguy on Jul 06, 2007 10:04 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Mahesh Bhupathi made a mistake of his life by partnering Sonia in mixed dobles. He should have been partnered a russian or american doble specialist instead. Sania has poor service and weak backhand. In doubles aggression is the main key but in Sania you will find a slow and weak partner. Don't repeat the mistake again Mahesh, All the best for future tourneys!!

someone please tell sania to listen to me.
' sania do not play doubles for at least 3 years. concentrate on singles play ONLY. this is the onlt time you can get to perform better in singles. if you keep participating in doubles it'll never help your singles game.
after long time india has got a good singles player like you. DO NOT waste your time in doubles. please'

Aravind bhai first you learn about the basics intennis before commenting on Paes. Leander has been one of the best tennis player ever produced by our Country. Mahesh may be good in doubles but Paes is an alrounder. Singe handedly he won many Davis Cup matches for India. Do not dare to call this great guy as stupid. He is a born fighter.

Hey Arvind 'THE DUH MAN'...Please know the subject before commenting. Paes is not only the best tennis player our country has seen but also the best sportsman who plays for the country. I have never seen anyone so passionate about playing for India than Paes. So please save your stupid comments for the SRKs and ABs and stay away from sports column!!!

Sania - Oh Man
by Reuben on Jul 06, 2007 04:27 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Guys...stop screaming at our poor darling. No one expected her to win wimbledon (if you did..then it is your fault). She is a role model for many young girls of our world. Just like Ramesh Krishnan, Vijay Amritraj and Anand. They never won any slams either. So cool. Women in India never had the courage to play and win matches in Tennis. She is a brave girl and the best we have got. Even if she gets complacent...lets not blame her. Lets hope her representation gives birth to new breed of champions in the coming years.

Idiot, better we stupid Indians start turning towards the world of Sport with full force. As it is, we Indians lack a Sports Culture. We are just good in the Sport of PULLING EACH OTHER'S LEGS, that's all. Or only SLINGING MUD AT EACH OTHER.
Paes, Sania, Bhupathi, Narayanan are just trying to be brave predecessors & etch a path on such an adverse background. Instead of trying to emulate them & take their efforts further, if we Indians turn a blind eye & keep on showing our (low) mentality... well then, let me say that "India was, is & will stay in the dumps."
