Our media and corporates are after female stars..even if they perform half of what sridhar did..there would be many sponsers...Think sridhar should impersonate himself as female to get sponsers...

Are you implying ms sania mirza? let me tell you she deserves every bit of media and corporate backing as she is playing an individual sport and she is doing us indians proud. as for those criket baffoons who are treated like gods and paid in lakhs/millions for a team sport in which also they put us to shame.WHAT ABOUT THEM? THEY ARE MALES REMEMBER? best wishes to mr Sridhar i am sure he will receive the sponsorship and backing which he well deserves.
Last year in UK, a Formula 1 driver named Justin Wilson launched shares of "him". You could buy one share for $20 and if he made it big, he will pay it back with a premium. That could be an idea for such sportsmen to gather mass support. $20 is small for each person, but put together, it could propel him to bigger heights. And there's always promise of a decent payback.
We can't rely on the corporations to do everything for us. We have to try such novel ideas...
