If cricket/cricketers get sponsorers, it is because of the hard work put in by BCCI over the years to popularise cricket. Why do you blame cricket for some other sport not getting attention. If badminton does not get the attention it deserves, badminton is responsible for it and not cricket. Besides, no sponsorer sponsors for the sake of charity .. they do so to get mileage out of it. There is absence of media and people when it comes to badminton. Why on earth will a Sahara sponsor a badminton player?
