Not done,Sameer. You can write well and lucidly then why such language. It is a game after all and all of you chaps wanting to live the game through Sania is neither fair nor logical. She is doing well, these past three weeks, but, the fact remains that she is not the most atheletic of players and at this level this one lacuna will see to it that she will not get consistently good results; a few good ones here and there and, for the most part average performances. Please do not use the language of the other riff raff.

Sania hasnot improved a bit.See she is gr8 talent. But till now she has not entered in top 10 and moreover she has not won any tournaments. But when she 1st entered the arena everyone(sharapova, hingis, serena) said that she is gr8 talent and soon she will enter in top 10. But instead of improving her careergraph decreasing(except last 2 tournaments).Tell me when will she won a tournament.Otherwise we will remember her a model tennis girl just like kournikova.
Sharapova trounces Sania, breezes past Sania. After all the person who lost is an Indian why do Indian newspapers have to shamelessly create drama. Why cant the headline read Sharapova looses to Sania. Afterall Sharapova has the best coaches, physical assistants etc.... . Sania is trying her best without any financial help from Indian government. The least loosers like rediff can do is treat Sania with respect.

It is higly idiotic to pay 20lacs to person who owns big house which worth more than crores of money. Instead of paying that to her the money can be used to find new talent who is really in need of money. I dont why all the state governments paying money who have already settled with money.

There is nothing wrong with the heading. When a player loses 6-2, 6-1 , it means she was trounced, thrashed, there is no other way to describe it. Facts are facts you cannot hide facts.

We all know Sania will find it hard to beat Sharapova. But she is the only Indian player to reach this stage of any major tourney for such a long time. We are sure the day is not far when Sania will win some major title. Lets hope for the best.

- You're right! - She has done tremendously well and deserves appreciation for what she has achieved
Sania is no doubt the best tennis woman player Indian has ever produced. But, she has still a long way to go to beat the top ranking players in internationl circuit. She needs to improve her first serve to be more effective. I am sure she must be working towards it. The other problem I see in indian players, in whatever sports, that we are not physically very strong and agile. Any sport now these days are no longer only a skill game. One has to work towards increasing one fitness level.

you are 100% correct. why coaches are not motivating players towards stamina improvement. let sania stay two years abroad and work on stamina and technique improvement.I am sure within two years she will be under 5 th rank in the world.

- Stamina will not just happen because of motivation - It is also because of how you grew up, background, genetics, cultural and other factors - Instead of expecting every sports person to be a world beater, why cant we appreciate what they are doing to best of their abilities

I dont think Ramesh Krishnan was a physically strong guy, yet he once reached quarter finals of US open and even knocked out Mats Wilander in Australian open. He was a touch artist. Sania is from Hyderabad the place which has produced batsmen like Azhar and VVS laxman who are known for wristy strokeplay
