Its indeed disgraceful performance-result wise in this World Cup.Those at the helm of our hockey affairs should earnestly iron out the weak links. In my opinion India did played very well in almost all the matches but the lady luck did not smiled. Yes-the winning edge in our hockey team was definitely missing.Come on India-the talent and winning habits to be unearthed.
I feel that the state of Indian hockey has disintergrated to such an extent that India may have to stop playing hockey at International level altogether. Many countries are now much much more higher than India in rankings. India has now lost against Argentina and England and Korea and other lowly placed countries. This has never happened before when India was a force to reckon with and was among the first 5 in the world at any time. Now we are USELESS and its better we give up playing hockey altogether.
