Mahesh Bhupati's decision is truly disgraceful. Shows how small & self centered he actually is. Whatever his personal problems & hassles with Leander Paes is, what is it compared to the oppurtunity & pride of representing your country??? These people have forgotten that the GAME has made them what they are today, and not the other way around. Such conceited individuals should not be entertained in any anyway, even the media should not give any coverage to what they say & do.
The I guess we as Indians should not be supporting him any more. Anyone who thinks his/her personal priority comes ahead of national commitments does not deserve praise or support.
Bhupati is saying that he is not going to play for India in the futre..This is really shameless... HE is just playing Tennis to earn money and nothing more....
Whatever decision Mahesh has taken whether good or bad should not be used to malign a true patriot like Leander.You being from the army should be a better judge of patriotism i thought.
Did you know that when Leander was No.1 in India during the last asian games , it was Mahesh who was paired with the then number one womens player, Manisha Malhotra and Leander was paired with the young Sania. Leander never complained and he went out there and playing with a rookie Sania came back with a bronze for INDIA not just for himself.
Mahesh might be a an excellent player but after seeing his ego hassles over the years he just display his insecurity and he will never be a great player with behavious like this.
I doubt what would have happened at Kargil if our warriors had put their own interests ahead of the country. Mahesh should leave petty ego aside and should team up with Leander to reinstate the best team in the world.Both together are still the best.. THE TEAM. Leander should tone down his flambouyance a bit which I feel makes him appear more important than the game itself.Maybe thats what upsets Mahesh.Cmon Mahesh, India needs you! Pls Change Your Mind.
It is an unfair treatment for Mahesh and probably certain amount of Selfishness/Jealousy on the part of Leander Peas & AILTA lack of Wisdom.My sympathies with Mahesh Bhupati.India certainly will miss his services. I don't know when will the Sports field get rid of Dirty Politics.May God bless Mahesh with all the Luck and Success.
this is very rude decision on his part, i can this is either selfishness or ego. he should forget all the things to give priority to country, there are very few bright sportstars in the country who can shine the name of Motherland and bhupati is one them. But due to this stance he will keep very bad example
