Badminton is the most popular spectator sports next to cricket and football. If India is ever to make a grade and be part of the elite and exclusive top four teams of the world there must enough incentives and prize money across the board. This would encourage players to strive harder. In the present scheme of things in baminton only the player who wins the world championship can make money rest will have to settle for the crumbs. Therefore, I don't expect players from India to win in individuals or team events.
