Silly Article

Yes the Indians have performed poorly but I wish you people at Rediff would do a better job of checking your facts. Virdhaval Khade is potentially a future WORLD CLASS swimmer. He is only 15 years old and finished a mere .91 back in the Butterfly. In addition, his 100m time in 4x100 men's relay was better than every single swimmer in the pool except the gold medal winning Japanese team and 1 Iranian swimmer.

At 15 to have a 100 m freestyle on par with the record setting Japanese relay team is in my view unbelievable. The other swimmers have admittedly been terrible but let us not ignore the one bright spot on the Indian swim team. 4 years from now this guy will be a gold medal hope for India.
