A team captain who is leading the team is resposible for team win & loss. He can get his team moral up by his performance e.g. while batting he has to play to captain inning. Take the example of Australian Captain Ricky Ponting.
Rahul has to own the responsibility of team loosing since he could have had best playing players in team and not the best known or the best flattering people. And if captain cannot dictate terms then he whould better leave captaincy. - Sumit
all players are responsible but mostly dravid because he dont knows his responsiblities, they dont know how to play cricket but they are masters in playing with indian people. all are political, selfish people.
rahul is responsible for the lost of indian cricket team in the world cup because from the first match between INDIA and BANGLADESH .After the toss, the decision of bowling was takenm by the rahul not by the team management of not by the coach
In my view mr. dravid is the worst capitan of india till now. He do not the order how to send the palyers in the order. If he select Laxaman in place of Shewag, atleast we will have palyed upto semifinals. And if the luck favours also we may win the cup also. Venu gopal roa, suresh rania or gambhir in place of dinesh karithk, powar in place of pathan.

Mr Dravid is not fit for the capitan, as he cannot handle players in the ground. just he depends on chapell.

i m agreeing on the point tht dravid is not fit for the post of Captain, he don't know how to make strategies how to motivate and how to handle players but i m totally disageeing on the fact tht dinesh karthick should have been dropped. look in the matches he has played he has shown the determination of fight.he is a good player down the order and prooved himself in up the order , i think he is the best talent india has found in some time.
