WE NEED A GREAT BALANCER - MR. DEVEGOWDA
by Punyakumar on May 19, 2008 12:39 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Whether anyone likes it or not. BJP tried to polarise Lingayat votes which has been ably retaliated by Vokkaligas by voting their leadearship in the form of Deve Gowda and his party. It is good that such manipulations should be handled by manipulations only. BJP has it own spin doctor - Mr. Arun Jaitley. His tricks will not work in Karnataka.

Nothing will work out this time Mr.Kumar. You just wait and watch. Mr.yediyurappa will be having the last laugh on May 25th.
Now all media and exit polls say only about BJP. So no doubt about that. A gujarat will be repeated here.

Bangarappa is the king
by Prem on May 19, 2008 12:50 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Bangarappa will beat BJP. BJP has become very corrupt in the state. The Bellary Reddys are getting money from Andhra and trying to buy the votes. Most of the BJP candidates are all from Telugu mafia. Advani please save the karnataka BJP.

Corruption is the core of any political party. No party is exempt from it. If BJP claims to be a clean party it should be away from it. But stating Congress is doing it so we will do it, is an insane argument.

Yes. Encroaching on the patent of Congress is manifestly unjust.

Congress invented corruption in this country, and only they can enjoy the proceeds. If anyone else attempts that, they must pay a royalty to Congress...

It was Mr. Bangaru Laxaman who was caught on camera. It was Mr. George Feranandez' residence that was used to clinch defence deals. It was Ananth Kumar who looted housing money. The list goes on and on. All the other parties including Congress have similar lists.

Bangarappa is a chameleaon- who very often changes parties to earn crores of rupees. He is similar to Deve Gowda a man with zero scruples.
Unfortunately BJP is immersed in emotions no serious are made to strengthen its own base.BJP has been winning by default.Except Modi others are just paper tigers.
All said and done Karnataka must vote for BJP to see how they govern in their state.
Regarding mafias BJP did the right thing to defeat mafia with mafia only.

Now again no party will get clear majority. It will be like last election with slight swing towards BJP. But it may not be sufficient to form the Govt. on its own. Certainly the power hungry Congress and JD(S) will join hands to form the govt.

yeah - waste of money - which is public money really - good that there's no ostentatious hoardings of leaders - its an important ego boost to the leaders - now they have come door to door asking for vote! serves them right - in the absence of meaningful debates - thier only option is to come door to door campaigning. its a delight! also it reduces the plastic and paper pollution - disgraces the city with smiling faces of politicians.
