BJP ? communal
by Kris on May 25, 2008 10:37 AM  Permalink

BJP leader Vajpayee was the only leader who went out of his way to bring peace between India and Pakistan. Communal secular tag is cheap politics and a distraction.

But the parties themselves are stupid.... they could have teamed up when JD-S decided to walk out of BJP alliance... couldn't they have?
And saved a few thousand crores worth of election expenses...

This is India meri jaan...
by Sudhir Kumar on May 25, 2008 10:31 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

I remember an incident (when Deve Gaura and Gujaral was PM), when BJP was in opposition in centre, Pramod Mahajan went to China on an official tour... Since, China is not a democratic country (its communist, where Polit beauru decides everything), a chinese leader asked Mahajan - "How do you run the democratic system in India?"

Mahajan replied - "See, in India, our party (BJP) is the single largest party, and we are in the opposion... Congress is the second largest party, and they are supporting the govt from outside... left front is also a major one, and they are also supporting the govt from outside... Janta Dal is having less than 7% seats in Loksabha, and they have their PM with the support of other small parties, and independents...

... sab kuch possible hai, yeh hai India meri jaan.

I am taking about 1995-1997 and not 89-91... you better clear your facts first.

This is just an example of how we honour the mandate given by people, in the name of secularism... Shame on these so-called secularist parties.
