JD(S) has 28 (And not 38) which is 30 less than earlier verdict. There was a fear of hung assembly and JS(S) as kingmaker but the party got the right fate even in triangular contest. JD(S) was a common enemy and no secular. In photos HD Deve Gowda was not to see face to face to Yedduruappa and IK Gujaral while congratulating.
Congress and JDS have no respect for the verdict of the people. Instead of accepting peoples' verdict which is clearly against them, some power-hungry conressmen like B K Shivkaumar,Siddaramaiah,Kharge etc explored the possibility of forming a Government joining hands with " LIKEMINDED" party called JDS!!!!. Even JDS "HIGHCOMMAND" called Devegowda sent a feeler to Delhi bosses in congress extending his "Conditional" support to for a non-BJP Govt!!!!. What could be the condition? Making H D Kmarswamy or H D Revanna Chief Minister? when will that old python understand basic niceties in politics? Shame on both Congress and JDS.

Discussion among a section of leaders in any party cannot be considered as long as it is not official. Aim of any political party is to rule. When a situation arise when there is an opportunity to rule no political party will miss it. In Bihar when Mr. Rama Jois was the governor, he called Mr. Nitish Kumar to form the government, knowing that Mr. Nitisth Kumar did not have numbers. Even in Jharkhand BJP played a game. They roped in a single independent candidate who was officially supported by Congress during election campaign to from the government. No political party is clean. But in this case allowing BJP to form the government is a very good decision. Good there is no Arun Jaitley in congress. If there was one like him he would have played a dirty trick here too. He us a spin master. Let him win an election and prove his credibility.
Congrats! BJP You deserve the victory for all the bad show by JD(S) Eventhough betraying in politics is common, JD(S) went a step ahead in this regard b'cos of POWER. Hope BJP will fulfill all the dreams of B'lore people especially the traffic congestion & improve relation with the neighbours Good Luck & Best Wishes for a long innings
Seems MMS is hide behind the....? Or rediff is not publishing their comments? Or we just need to read all those statements made while losses in Gujarat?

People speak in different languages like Tulu, Konkani, Coorgi etc in Karnataka. If Kannada is main language, does the people who speak in Tulu, Konkani, Coorgi etc really repect kannada?

Who told Tulu, Konkani, Coorg people don't speak Kannada? They do. They speak a purest kannada language than all the other kannadigas of Karnataka. Because they speak as in the text books.

Yes. You are correct. Real kannada language is saved by the people in D.K., Udupi & Coorg. Very one knowing to write & read kannada can understand what these people speak. Rest all changed the language as they needed which is not at all in the books & some time difficult to follow.

TULU and KODAVA languages are the offshoots of Kannada language. No where they have mentioned they don't speak Kannada. Most of these people speak very good grammatical Kannada. COORG was a seperate state before state reorganisation.

We all speak kannada, we should kick tamil, telugu, ... by showing unity in office and public. Give preference to our people we are all from farmers background. we are not born with silver spoons.
Till yesterday evening the congress party had enough numbers to form the government or at least had equal strength to block BJP's government formation efforts. Congress had the full backing of 4 rebel candidates. But the central leadership has taken a right decision to sit in opposition, thereby respecting the mandate of people.

Atleast one wise decision by congress finally to not to do the dirty politics again.See since elections are due for Madypradesh, Rajastan,Chatisgarh and then Loksabha follows, the congress dirty politics could have prooved them dearly.Somebody from other party might have only advised them to not try for forming the party becoz i don't think they understand such things easily.Highly egoistic people.

Mr.dakshin, BJP got 110 seats on its own. Even if you add Cong-I and JDS seats they together got 108 still short of two seats. Where is the question of cong-I forming the government? Even to this moment Cong-I refuses to respect public mandate.

Mr. Anand Teertha just go through what I have mentioned. The 4 congress rebels have openly said they are staunch followers of Siddaramaiah and D.K. Shivakumar. If the congress wanted to block government formation they can rope in these 4 and engineer a tie. This would have led to another term of president's rule in this state. But by allowing the 4 to decide on their own to support BJP government, congress has exhibited maturity. Another candidate is a rebel Janata Dal candidate. If they had attempted to form government and succeeded this would have been detrimental to the interests of congress itself. They have learnt a lesson now. It is better to be late than never.

It is not a considerate move. It is a mature move. Congress was lacking that for long. They have learnt it from their mistakes. Congress does not need sycophants or sympathizers. In a given political scenario peoples' aspirations should be respected and congress has just done that. It is not difficult to get back the rebel candidates whose political mentors are still in congress, but doing that is detrimental to congress itself. This is a gift to BJP sycophants.

Yes one should learn to appreciate good things. Rajiv Gandhi should be appreciated for cheap phone facilities, Dr. Manmohan as finance minister for economic liberalisation, Mr. Vajpayee for infrastructure etc. One should rise above party affiliation to appreciate what is appreciable and be constructive critics when things are not in place.

This information is true. AICC outrightly rejected the attempts and appeal of a section of congress functionaries, even when presented with needed numbers.
