This morning some TV new channel, while displaying the seats (leads / trends) position of various parties, gleefully yet senselessly declared that BJP was helped by anti-incumbency factor.
These shameless channels should think twice before making such comments. Hardly 5 days back, it was proved by BJP in Gujarat elections that incumbency is not an adverse factor but could be turned to an advantage by a ruling party. This was well said in an article by a seasoned public persona like P C Alexander only yesterday.
Why can't the media report that Congress failed because it failed to perform and meet the aspirations of the people?
Also, to the likes of Teesta Setalwad, who cry hoarse that people in Gujarat voted BJP out of fear, one would like to make the record straight by pointing out that in central Gujarat BJP was effectively voted out comprehensively - showing that the voters belonging to any community are fearless in expressing their choice!
Most of the TV news channels, it is clear, are as reckless and callous as the political outfits. How can general public expect balanced, objective, matter of fact news coverage from these coloured channels?

You are right in your observation. The extent to which the media goes to tarnish BJP and mislead the people raises several doubts about their real motive. It can not be just 'secularism' that they are worried about - I think it is worth to investigate who is funding them and who are the people who manage those channels and what are their real intentions - it could be a thriller of a scoop if somebody does it.

Is run by an Australian, who is supported by St.Peters Pontificial Church Melbourne.

Owned by Birla Group, but hands have changed since Shobana Bhartiya took over. Presently it is working in Collobration with Times Group.
F) The Hindu:
A English Daily, started over 125 year ago was funded 70 crores by the Vatican after N Ram converted to Cathilic bymarrying Miriam

Excellent comment! Channels have become politicised, the preferences of editors or anchors are taking prominence over their primary duty - impartial reporting. Unfortunately, the line between reporting and forming opinion is blurring. They tend to be opinion makers where the role should be reporting. But are silent on many socially relevant issues, where the media can educate and help reduce the impact of the menaces we face.

They are Slaves of Sonia and D Raja ...they are following people whose identity is questionable...can anybody tell who is Rahul...(Hindu,Cris,Parsi etc etc) as they have all these in their family now media becomes like that only...shame on this media..
tu minority ke pichhe kyoun pad gaya yaar...? Ab kya minority ko jaan se mar ke hi santusti hogi..? If everybody(INC, Media, Karunanidhi) is helping to minority as per ur view, then why minority is under poor condition...?

Sam saab : MMS should have also said that minorities have the first right over military resources as well.This would help the likes of Dawoods, Afzals etc. to promote their Jihadi movements.
As Congi's loosing election after election, next strategy of congress will be supporting Jihad, so that total muslim vote they can snatch from mulla mulayam likes of party !!!!
Congress can never win again in India being soft on terrorism, supporting corruption, supporting communists who are chamchas of chinese govt and without proper leaders.

it didnot win last time also. it is manipulation that they r in power now. They formed UPA after election. During election each constituent abused each other.
100% there will be no midterm polls.It is very clear to cong & commies that they will never win in next polls. Advaniji use little brain and support N-deal only, outmatically left will be forced to pull the govt down. Next Bjp can go for election

congress,cpm,lallu,mulayam,sometv media,dhongi NGOand socalled budhijivi class have got only one mantra to paste communal lable on nationalist BJP.they think it is easy to win elections.but in dmocracy now ppl of india knew that who is communal.they choosed BJP as nationalist party.only party can deliver security and developement to all across the society and is above to all from dirty politics is BJP.JAIHIND.
