Any news gets only the attention it deserves. This seems like a real joke. the mosque near the place where i live makes huge announcements and public meetings, telling the public how the Muslims all over the world from Africa to America to China and India are being victimised. Saddam Hussein was hanged. That was an injustice on the Muslims of the world??
There was a mighty procession to protest against the Indian govt for that. Man when will the Muslim leaders tell them that Muslims of each country have a nationality. Tell them to bother about their own countrymen and not Saddam. Tell them to reform their society. Accept that there are so many social evils that they still follow. Achieve better economic status and contribute to the country.

Is the Constitution of India written by any Prophet or Great Yogi? If it (The Constitution of India) was/is an absolute thing then, why do we need to amend it every now and then?
Arey dim-wit! The muslims are right in following their Quran, the problem is that some verses are mistakenly understood. And they (the Fatwa issuers) are trying to correct this. Go through the life of Prophet and you would realize that he had waged wars only to protect people at large and that too in self-defense. For eg., the war fought in Kargil etc., is in self-defense and not actually an aggression.
The problem with we, Hindus is that, we never ever bother to (even) peep into Our Religious texts unlike the Muslims. We try to disprove the existence of Lord Rama even, just to loot some money in the form of sethusamudram project.
Every religion is there to re-ligate with God and thats the real purpose of a human being coming down and living on the Earth.

read here interesting comments. Qs is how many of you really have read Quran? English translation of Quran written by many muslim scholars are available. I have read the Quran. My impression is this. "Quran, desperately tries to lure the non believers by scaring them with God's wrath, and promise to reward the believers by great things in the Heaven. This keeps repating in almost all the Suras. Every pages of Quran talks about the rewards for the believers and punishment for the non believers". I didn't see any spiritual teachings, or talk of peace or nothing intelligent. Well read it to yourself. If they quote any peace verses of Quran , then it is the only verse in the Holy Book. For me, Taliban is the true face of Islam. Khalid, I welcome your message. Let us see if Koran teaches what you say it teaches. Answer this honestly(swear on holy Koran). An average muslim taken at random from Indian muslims, would such an average muslim consider mother India worthy of worship or only Allah worthy of worship. Next, would he even accept the idea of singing "I worship my motherland?". Now you may provide your arguments, but let us see how average muslims who are minority in other secular states think. In England, would an average muslim british citizen consider himself british first ( thus accepting queen over anything else ) or a muslim first? Move over to Europe and so on. Now do a reality check, how many muslim majority countries allow for freedom to practise other religions? Now go and read Quran again, what does it say muslims should do against idol worshippers? You see, it is not that world is against muslims, it is that muslims world over are against the rest. It is this ideology that is keeping muslims backward world over. well, there is no software written in the world that is complete. It always needs enhancements and maintainence and the manual needs to be changed with the changes in software. The changes in software are required because we dont live in a static world or business, everything keeps changing with time. The problem with kuran is it never changed for centuries. It is outdated. You are right, Khalid! No religion would teach killing any being. Just that some misguided people are interpreting certain teaching wrongly. If there need to be a division, it can only be being that are 1) informed and 2) Misguided. If is the duty of the informed to try, as much as possible and as long as need be, to make the misguided understand the real meaning of religion / life. How much ever we are able to do that, we have achieved some purpose in life. We will gain some punya (or what ever one calls it).
