it is not true
by Dipak Bose on May 27, 2008 09:46 AM  Permalink

American newspapers and media are not giving any importance to Jindal, but to Romney, who is expected to be the VP candidate.
Only the Rediff.com or CNN-IBN, Outlook, India today, all financed by the Baptist Mission Church are giving so much importance to Jindal, possibly to promote more conversion among the teenage party animals of Bombay and New Delhi and Bangalore expecting they will get a greencard if they convert.

"Jindal could well be the dark horse in McCain's search for the running mate who would bring value to the ticket" this is literrraly true. How does an Indian origin guy become a darling of the conservative far right. Is this a southern republican trick to show everybody they are not rascist. I guess Jindal is making hay while the sun shines. All it takes is to swear by the bible, beat up on the gays, oppose abortion , oppose stem cell research and you are the gvernor and the next VP candidate. Who cares about the economy eh. Indian electorate is far wiser than these bible belt fools.

He was born in US, converted to christianity and has distanced himself from his Indian heritage. He visits churches frequently to pray with the church members and to talk to them. He went to a top notch uniiversity and is well spoken. He has worked hard to achieve the status that he has.

Bobby Jindal is an indian by descent... this is just the proof of what indians can and are capable of doing if only they wish to.... BJ represents the power and potential of the rising indians everywhere.... such stories are told and told again and again to encourage other indians to take the world in their stride....

What is so great about cynically changing your beliefs for personal benefits ? I agree he is a typical Indian. Sly and cunning.

Careful
by Priyan Sarma on May 26, 2008 11:57 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

If he comes to power, by trying to act as being unbiased he may even scuttle any good American initiative towards India. Jindal may be good for the US but could be a danger for India

Indians in India do not know what a snake this Jindal is. I fully endorse Priyan's views.
