Firstly I congratulate the BJP on securing a close to simple majority and the people of Kar for attempting for a stable govenment. I feel the reporter is a Congress sympathist/supporter otherwise she wouldnt have shown so much concern for what has gone wrong on Congress. I suppose rediff is a neutral news site. Second, I dont understand why media is probing which caste helped which party. I oppose this approach..One side we do a propoganda to disolve caste differences and the media on the other side..tries to show which party is supported by which caste or vice versa. You media guys..try a better constructive approach. Even if that is the fact, why should you project it.This surely encourage politicians to do caste based politics even otherwise i agree they still do it. Media .. time to rethink..
Congress will do well in future if they listen to people: 1. Sonia to get rid of her advisors like Rajiv Shukla, Dwivedi etc. 2. Stop calling BJP as "Communal" 3. Forget that only Congress is secular; BJP is indeed more secular than congress. I would also term Congress & their chamcha parties pseudo secular 4. Congress must stop appeasing muslims particularly by announcing goodies for them ONLY. It'll never help them secure all muslim votes. 5. Stop vote bank politics & take tough decisions in the interest of Nation without worrying about what CPM / CPI or other jokers say even if they lose the power at the Centre. 6. Get rid of old inefficient ministers like Arjun Singh, Baalu & other dead wood in the govt. 7. Donot mess with reservation policy to please incompetent people for sake of getting more votes; recognize & reward talent / merit 8. Most Hindus irrespective of their political leanings are feeling insulted and without polarisation on religious lines the Hindus are turning against Congress for above reasons. 9. Congress MUST condemn openly DMK / Karuna for their comments / statements against existence of Lord Rama. Hang these bas**rds.
If after losing so many elections & recent bypolls, Congress cannot introspect the reasons for their failure, the party is doomed for ever in future elections.

Instaed of implementing these next to impossible agendas, Sonia thinks it is better to loose the elections. You are impractical, their agenda is inherited from 1919 with MK Gandhi's support to Khilafat Movement. Do you think it is so easy to disrod themeselves and stand naked on the road.

BJP & AIADMK together will throw the present "blind man's" govt. out of power in TN. You'll see how many seats DMK will get in the next year's Lok Sabha polls; much less than the BJP/AIADMK working together.

Congress is the party who wants to break indians into muslims, hindus, brahmins, buddhist, christians sc and st and rule over the country. If congress keeps on comming into goverment for next 2-3 terms, india would be a place worse than pakistan. The inflation has reached its peak in last 5 years since congress has come into rule. Prices of everything from vegetables to real estate have increased by 300 to 400% in last 5 years. This party is utterly a union of most corrupt politicians in the world. Politicians Sharad Pawar has spent $12 Millions annually on airtravel fare. You can guess what must be the case with others. With congress in the ruling party, may GOD the Almightly bless the people of India.
when cong came to power in 2004, all of them were sucking the feet of sonia instead of praising efforts of local congress leaders too. now when it is losing elections, they blame sonia and co. so gandhi family as ever will always get all the abuses. its pseudo congress morons like sheela bhatt who behave like coconuts the reason why the voting junta of this country is as confused as ever.
BJP with 110 seats is still short of majority. Even if it were to form a govt., who knows what will happen after some time? COng and JD(s) can always come together and switch the loyalties of the independents and then u never know. The existing govt. could be out of power again just like it happened in Jharkand.
